Pueblo de Tierra it’s a boutique Hostel falling into the Poshtel category. They invited me to stay with them on my first visit to San Pedro de Atacama.

With just over a year since they opened this hotel is one of the best places to spend your stay in San Pedro de Atacama. A place where you can enjoy peace and silence with the simple luxury inspired by the Atacama cultures.

Perfect location to enjoy silence

The hotel is a bit away from San Pedro de Atacama city center, in ‘Los Algarrobos’ area, this had me a bit worried. Upon arrival I realized distances are small, and you can get the main square in less than 10 walking minutes.

If you don’t want to walk, for about $ 3,000 Chilean pesos a taxi can take you anywhere within the city.

The rooms

The hotel has 13 rooms ranging from double rooms to 5 two floors Lofts that can accommodate up to 4 people. Passengers are mainly families and young couples looking for comfort and simple luxury.

Designed with simple and modern details that will make your stay comfortable. Each room has everything to make a perfect stay. Heating and air humidifier, you will appreciate as the air turns to be really dry in the altitude atmosphere.

After the long trips visiting around the wonders in the area, which has beautiful and unthinkable scenery, you’ll be craving to rest.  In Pueblo de Tierra you will have one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept waiting for you.

The common areas

The outdoor common areas are enough to host everybody. A small but beautifully designed pool, with details that will make this your preferred area to relax and catch some sun.

They have a small terrace above the reception area is the ideal place to stars watching and enjoy the distant lights of San Pedro de Atacama.

One of the things that bond me to this place is the friendliness of everyone working in Pueblo de Tierra. All welcoming and willing to help you with everything you need to make your stay unforgettable in San Pedro de Atacama.
