I am more than happy to share the news with you. I’m going for the third time this year to one of my favorite countries: INDIA.
Yes! The third time in a year, the first was for covering the Best Luxury train in Asia, the Deccan Odyssey in Maharashtra, and after I attended the 5th edition of the amazing Kerala Blog Express, being the first Chilean to be part of this Trip of a Lifetime.
This time, I’m invited by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) to attend the fifth edition of the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart. This event is designed to promote this destination to the world while is giving focus on tourism into Madhya Pradesh state. This year’s focus will be to highlight Madhya Pradesh as a year-round travel destination.
This year’s edition will be held in Bhopal at the Lake View Ashok Hotel from 5th to the 7th October 2018.
Over 300 representatives are expected to participate in it and the number of attendees is expected to surpass last year edition. The International participation is counting with representatives from USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Norway, Thailand, Australia, Netherlands, Singapore, Canada, Bulgaria, Finland, South Africa, Mexico, Fiji, Italy, Russia, Argentina, Belgium Slovakia, Mexico, Malaysia Cambodia, and Ukraine. Over 100 representatives of distinct Indian markets will attend this year.
The Primary objective of this mart is to market and promote Madhya Pradesh as a destination throughout the year. The concept is a B2B platform which will bring tourism stakeholders on a platform where they would interact to explore opportunities for mutual trade.
The event is being supported by eminent institutions of tourism and hospitality industry including IATO, ATOAI, ADTOI, TAAI, ITTA, PATA, ICPB, TOFT, IHHA, and TAFI.
The two-day exhibition will be providing exceptional one-to-one business meetings. It will be attended by representatives from heritage hotels, conference venues, tour operators and wildlife parks as well as by international buyers from Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East, US, Australia, South Africa, and Canada.
Post-event, I will be part of a FAM Tour which will be organized by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board to visit Bhopal, Khajuraho and the famous temples of the Kamasutra, Panna, Orchha, and Jhansi. The other places buyers & media of interest will be visiting are such as Mandu, Sanchi, Kanha, and Pench.
