Every day the number of passengers traveling from South America to the rest of the world increases. That is why airlines have increased and greatly improved the offer in recent years.

The route that began the first passenger flight between France and Chile, was made 80 years ago, on November 1, 1936.

Today there is a daily non-stop flight from Santiago to Paris operated on a Boeing 777-300 and there are 5 weekly flights to Amsterdam (via Buenos Aires) with KLM.

Thanks to the networks offered by Air France and KLM, along with its SkyTeam partners, today it is possible to fly to more than 1,000 destinations.

To this end, the Air France-KLM group has created a ‘Hubway’ connecting flights from Charles De Gaulle and Schipol to Amsterdam, among which 12 daily flights are made.

For example, from Paris, you can connect to 191 destinations on all 5 continents, 335 with KLM and more than 1050 with the airlines that belong to SkyTeam.

In South America Air France and KLM reach 13 destinations with more than 120 frequencies per week, not counting the additional destinations that cover the 18 airlines that belong to the SkyTeam alliance, such as Aerolíneas Argentinas and Aeroméxico.

Experience for passengers

With the intention of maintaining the excellence and prestige that both airlines have gained over the years, Air France – KLM’s main concern is to provide passengers with the best travel experience.

We are an airline recognized for its quality, elegance, and luxury: gastronomy,
The wine list, culture, art, and history can be enjoyed on our planes.

The best digital experience for your passengers

Aware of the use of the technology Air France and KLM have free applications that can be downloaded on your smartphone with which you can buy tickets.

In the Connect App you can and handle all the details of your reservation, as well as details and modifications of your flight.

Perhaps the most recent proposal is the AF Press application, which includes free access to a large selection of magazines and journals from France and the world.

It can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet and information is available 24 hours prior to your flight.

The journals and magazines that you download will be available even without a connection and you can read them even during and after your flight.

Have you ever traveled with Air France or KLM? What do you think about the news of Air France-KLM connecting Chile with the world?
