#Kumpir or Jacket Potatoes in Turkey

TASTY WORLD - Kumpir TurkeyKumpir is probably one of the traditional delicacies these days in Istanbul.

Known as baked potato, or jacket potato in other countries they have a unique combination of flavors in Istanbul. They are giant potatoes filled with almost everything you want to. It’s one of the best street foods you can get and the toppings include: butter, olives, sour cream, spicy wheat, onions, cheese, corn, sausages, mushrooms, etc.Kumpir | From Turkey

My favorite place to eat Kumpir it is in Ortakoy. You’ll find many little shops where you can buy them before going into one of the several cruises that are departing from that point of the city at the Bosporus (for 12 TL).

Price it’s normally between 10 to 15 TL
